Starr House, High Street,
Cley-next-the-Sea, NR25 7RF

Made in Cley was formed in 1984 and is a group of seven potters and a jeweller: Wolfgang Altmann, Gunhild Espelage, Christiane Günther, Richard Kelham, Mary Perry, Rosalind Redfern and Barbara Widdup (potters) and Quay Proctor-Mears (jeweller). Wolfgang Altmann also makes limited edition prints.

In the pottery we produce a wide range of wheel-thrown, reduction-fired stoneware for domestic use, as well as more individual pieces in stone-ware, raku and porcelain.

The jewellery is hand-crafted and of contemporary design. Sterling silver, gold, precious and semi-precious stones are the predominant materials. The limited edition prints and photographs are inspired by the beautiful Norfolk land and sea-scape.

Our Gallery is open throughout the year, daily 10-5 (Sundays 11-4).
