Although trained as an architect, I have been making stained glass for the past 15 years. I use traditional methods of acid etching, kiln-fired painting and silver staining to create contemporary stained glass panels to suit a variety of settings such as doors, windows, screens, rooflights and panels in light boxes.
The glass which I use is hand-blown, using ancient techniques. There is a very large range of rich and vibrant colours, and a variety of surface effects are available.
I have recently had the opportunity to make stained glass for an outdoor setting when I worked on a project in the woodland garden at Blickling Hall.
