I use polyester clear casting resin as a craft material. I love the encapsulating, translucent and reflective properties of resin. My work is inspired by the contrast in textures and surfaces of mineral and organic materials.

I have combined some of the modern industrial processes used in the boat building industry in Norfolk and techniques used in making vintage Bakelite bangles from the 1930s and applied them to my work, creating pieces of jewellery with a warm tactile feel. Each piece of jewellery is unique and individually made.
